CROSSS stage a bloody sacrifice in their "Interlocutor" video

Get lost in the druidic rumblings of Toronto / Montreal-based CROSSS with their new video for "Interlocutor". Hooded figures drag some poor soul into a church basement in this black-and-white horror show.

"Interlocutor" is off their upcoming full-length LO, recorded at the Echo Chamber in Halifax and coming out May 26 on Telephone Explosion. But you can get the single now on a lathe-cut picture disk from the CROSSS Bandcamp page

Read more about how CROSSS frontman Andy March makes the disks in an interview from September 2014.

When you put members of METZ, Holy Fuck and The Constantines together...

It can only be good news. Stream the sludgy, grooving "Sarsfest" now if you know what's good for you.

The project has been in the works for a while. In an interview with Holy Fuck's Brian Borcherdt in 2012 (about his other band Dusted), he said LIDS was the group that best captured the sound he's trying to get at. On "Sarsfest", layers of Borcherdt's voice float over his guitar work and the beats he's constructed at the helm of this Toronto supergroup.

The track has the slightly-industrial danciness of Holy Fuck, made all the heavier by METZ singer/guitarist Alex Edkins supplying some crunching bass and The Constantines' Doug MacGregor on drums.

"Sarsfest" and "Blank Flag" are being released on a 7-inch coming out March 19 on Telephone Explosion.
